about reading your favorite magazines

Reading one of your favorite magazines is like coming at home. Sometimes, you just want to close the door and leave the world outside - then there it is, filled with words so warm like a hug. On other days, somebody you love had already cooked dinner for you as a surprise - and this is when stories from other people inspire you like you never knew they would.

For me, being a freelance writer besides my studies in Literature, I like to be surrounded by beautifully written words all the time. At the opposite side of my bookshelf is this collection of magazines - always ready to sit down and flip through.

    I was already in love with every little corner of your blog, but reading that you are a Literature major has completely won my heart.

      Your comment moved me so much that it was stuck in my head all day long! :) So, here we are: one of my favorite books is 'Siddhartha' by Hermann Hesse. When I finished the last page, I had tears in my eyes, it's so beautifully written! I also like to read books that inspire to travel the world like Hemingway's 'A moveable feast' and Steinbeck's 'Travels with Charley'. But, of course, I always love to get recommendations - what are your favorite books? :) (and thank you so much for stopping by!)

      'Demian' by Hermann Hesse is one of my favorites! You can't imagine how delighted I am to read this! :) I am all for American literature classics, and even though it may sound stereotypical, 'To Kill a Mockingbird' is one of my dearest ones. I also love Faulkner, so I would recommend 'The Sound and the Fury' -if you haven't read it yet, and 'A Farewell to Arms' if you enjoy Hemingway. Also, 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' always makes a lovely reading. I just added 'Siddhartha' to my reading list! :)
